Seam Binding Ribbon Rose

This card is embelished with a rose made with Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon, which I will be teaching at my Stamp a Stack. The leaves are made with the Two-Step Bird Extra Large punch. Colors: Cherry Cobler, Marina Mist, and Certainly Celery. Also used: Scallop Trim Border punch and Elegant Lines Embossing Folder. I really like the dimension embossing adds to a card.

Awash With Flowers Card

Another card we will be making at my Stamp a stack. I got the idea for this card from my friend Pam. She used Daffodil Delight and Marina Mist. Since I don't have any Daffodil cardstock yet, I did mine in retired colors: Marigold Morning and Buckaroo Blue. I just love the look of blue and yellow together.

Door prize

I learned how to make these boxes for gifting sets of cards from my friend Pam. (Pardon my lack photography skills!) She always makes the cutest ones! I will have to post some of them on here that she has given me.

I was organizing my craft room and came across some Designer Series Paper from a few years back. I can't even remember for sure what this paper was called. "Rebecca" maybe? Anyway, it was my favorite DSP at the time I bought it. I had forgotten all about it. It was fun to pull it out and play with it. I made these cards with the Sale-a-bration set Sweet Summer. It is such a cute set. I love those little flowers!

I decided this box with cards will be one of my door prizes at my Stamp a Stack coming up April 30. I have 7 projects prepped! New photos coming soon!

A little tweak

Something about this card just didn't feel right. Yesterday my stamping buddies suggested adding a scalloped border. Voila! Just what it needed! Looks better right?

I'm getting excited for my Stamp a Stack in two weeks. I have two of the cards completely prepped and I have a few door prizes made. It's going to be so fun!!

Regal Rose butterfly

I really like solid stamps like this butterfly from the "Simple Friendship" stamp set. I like to use the "Rock 'n Roll" technique with these. Notice the Chocolate Chip ink on the edges of the Regal Rose?

Now you have  seen the first 5 of the 10 projects we will be making.  Check here later this week for more pictures!

Remember, the deadline to register and pay for the Stamp a Stack workshop is April 24!!  And you get an extra door prize for bringing a friend who has never been to any of my stamping events before.

There will be lots of door prizes and everyone will take home a thank you gift for attending!

Butterfly gift bag

These bags are on clearance on the Stampin' Up! website right now. Aren't they nice? They come in packages of 5 for 99 cents!  Just decorate and you have a beautiful handmade package to place a gift in.  We will be making this one at my Stamp a Stack.    If you want to order some of the bags, email me and I can put them on my next order. Once they run out of the Clearance items they are gone!  I will be placing an order  this next week so let me know ASAP!

Nature Walk Easel Card

I'm just loving the Nature Walk stamp set! It is in the Occasional mini catalog and will be available to order until the end of April.

This is a new type of composition card called an easel card.  (At least it is new to me!)  It stands up like an easel.  Very cool!  Heather Summers can take credit for the design of this pretty card!

Wedding Card

Here's another card we will be making. It fits in a legal size envelope.

This card uses the bird punch that I just love! And I really like the vintage look of Basic Black,Very Vanilla and Riding Hood Red.  (Love Letter Designer Series Paper,  Elizabeth stamp, Punch Potpourri stamp set, and Fabulous Phrases.)

Just so you know, if you can't come to my workshop but would like to order a pack of the cards, just let me know. I will stamp them and have them all ready for you to assemble. The cost is $25. If you want me to send them to you in the mail add $5.

Sneak Peek!

Here's a sneak peek of some of the cards we will be making at my workshop on April 30.  I may still tweak some of them to make them better, but I wanted to give you an idea of what the projects will look like.

This card uses the Nature Walk stamp set that is my very favorite set right now!  And I love the new Baja Breeze blue!!
