Pretty Scooter card

This is one of the cards I made at Gail's stamp a stack a couple weeks back.  It uses the On the Grow set from the summer mini catalog.  I love the neat fold on this card.

Strength and Hope Thank You

I have been itching to use my new punch and stamp set that will be in the new catalog.  The stamp set is called "Four Frames".  You can purchase these sneak peak items with a $20 Stampin Up order.  See the web site for details.  The sentiment is from Because I Care level 2 hostess set.  The butterfly is from  Strength and Hope, the breast cancer fundraiser set.  $2 from the sale of this stamp set goes to breast cancer research.

Cardstock and Ink:  Choc Chip and Blushing Bride.  Accessories:  punch, retired pink wide organdy ribbon, aqua painter, pearls, Vanilla Shimmer mist spray.

I made a pack of these for a doorprize for my August Stamp a Stack.  Hope you are making plans to attend on August 6!

Fabulous Florets

I LOVE the Fabulous Florets stamp set from the summer mini catalog!  I found some retired Stampin Up DSP and pulled out my retired Taken with Teal ink and Cardstock and viola!  I love how it turned out.  I embossed the flowers and leaves in black on vellum cardstock and painted the flowers with Taken with Teal reinker and Aqua Painter.   I cut them out and layered them.  The ribbon is River Rock double stitched ribbon that is retired as well.  I also spritzed it with Vanilla Shimmer to give it a little sparkle!

These will be doorprizes at my Stamp a Stack in August.

Soft Sky Butterfly

This is a variation of a card I made at my friend Pam's Stamp a Stack a couple months ago.  Hers was done in Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip.  I had a pack of Soft Sky DSP that was screaming, "Pick me!  Pick me!"  so I pulled it out.  I love this stamp set: Nature Walk which was in the Occasions mini catalog.  I'm crossing my fingers that it will be in the new catalog coming in a couple of months.  I will be giving these as door prizes at my next Stamp a Stack in August.

Cardstock:  Soft Sky, Choc Chip, Vanilla.  Ink: Soft Sky, Choc Chip.  Stampin Up punches.  Choc Chip striped grosgrain, rhinestone brad.  Sentiment is from Apple Blossons Level 2 hostess set.

Wow the weekend sure went by fast!  I wanted to share another card that I made at Gail's Stamp a Stack last weekend.  This one is a cute onesie card!  Love that monkey!  Unfortunately I didn't see the pattern template until I had already "eyeballed" the punch outs for the leg holes so they are a little uneven.  oops!  I will fix that!  The leg and neck holes are done with the the circle and scallop circle punches.

May Stamp a Stack

It turns out that the date I had scheduled my May Stamp a Stack had several conflicts.  A few people were interested in rescheduling.  I have no dates on my calendar available until August 6 so I will postpone until then.  Meanwhile I will post some fabulous cards that we did at my friend Gail's Stamp a Stack this past Friday.  What fun cards!

I really love the look of the Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Baja Breeze together.  Designed by Tracey Olde.  I switched the stamp set.

Mothers Day Gift Card holder

We made this adorable Mother's Day gift card holder at my Stamp a Stack on Saturday. This uses the stamp set "Always." I love the black and vanilla look together (Love Letter designer series paper.) This is made with a cardboard CD wallet I found online. A piece of Ghiradelli chocolate fits nicely in the side pocket and the gift card slides out of the other sleeve. I got the design of this card from Denise Jettingill.

Door prizes for my August 6 Stamp Stack

I made a few sets of boxed cards for door prizes for my upcoming Stamp a Stack. The yellow ones are using the Bold Blossom set that was in the Spring Occasions mini catalog and has been continued in the Summer mini catalog. The blue bird set uses the Level 1 hostess set "Punch Potpourri" and the bird punch.

Strength and Hope

Here are a few samples made with "Strenght and Hope."

Chick Card and tweaked gift bag

We made a cute chick card. And I switched butterflies on the bag. We used the butterfly from the breast cancer fundraiser set "Strength and Hope".

Other projects from Saturday's Stamp a Stack

Here is another card we made Saturday. A special thanks to my good friend Evie for designing this one! She's such a talented and creative stamper!

Phew!

Well my first Stamp a Stack since becoming a new Stampin Up demonstrator (again teehee) is over. I just finished putting the last of the supplies away. Putting the stuff away is never as much fun as getting it out and playing with it!! :-)

We had 10 stampers come. There were fun projects and door prizes and a yummy lunch. Everyone had a good time. I will try to post pictures of the other cards we made soon. Here are some pictures of the door prizes.

Also I will be posting pictures of cards we will be making at my next Stamp a Stack next month. Check here soon to see them!
