Thanksgiving

Here are two variations of  the card I made for my hostess club last month to put in their order bags.  I love the colors of fall!  I love the leaves.  I love it all!  And I really love the Sweater Weather DSP!

I used the retired Houndstooth background stamp to stamp Tangerine Tango on the big leaves.  There are just some retired stamps I will never part with!  Especially backgrounds.  They are so versatile

Door Prize

I made this fun little pumpkin box Halloween treat holder .  I used a craft box, punches and Sweater Weather DSP.

The poem is the Pumpkin Poop poem that is floating around the internet.  I made handmade candy corn to fill the bag.  So yummy!

Candy Corn Triangle Boxes

I made these cute little candy corn triangle boxes to give to my hostess club members.  I used the new Sweater Weather DSP.  I filled them with candy corn.  So cute!

To make these I cut a 3 x 6" piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and ran it through the Chevron embossing folder.  I then scored it at 3" on the long side.  Find the center point of the short side and score from that point to the other scored line where it meets the edge of the paper.  Repeat from the same center point to the other edge of the original scored line.  (This makes the triangle.  Do the same to the other end.)

I cut one 2 x 3" orange piece of DSP and two 1 x 3" yellow pieces of DSP.  Adhere the orange piece over the score line that bisects the vanilla piece.  adhere the two yellow pieces on eithr side of the orange piece.

Fold score lines and where the side pieces overlap, punch holes to insert ribbon to hold box together.

Pumpkin Box

The DSP is from Venetian Romance DSP pack.  I used the leaves Sizzix die to make the leaves.

Envelope Maker

I am really loving the new Envelope Maker from Stampin' Up!  It comes with measurements to make SO many sizes of envelopes!  A second sticker sheet came with it.  I didn't want to lose it so I adhered it over the one on the maker, but only exposed the adhesive backing at the very top so now I have a flap that I can lift to see the markings on the bottom layer.

Hostess Club Projects

I am finally sitting down at the computer to update my blog.  I decided to show some of the Hostess Club projects we have made recently.

The first is a Traveler Tumbler and matching card.  We used retired newsprint DSP.

The second project is a journal made with notebooks that you can find on sale at the beginning of the school year.  I love how the large Swallowtail butterfly stamp takes up so much of the space.

The third project is a little card box filled with notecards.  There were 3 options to choose from.  We learned how to use the  new envelope maker to create custom sized envelopes to fit into the box.  Love that tool!!

We used retired Spice Cake DSP.  Such lovely colors.
