Sneak Peek

I got some new goodies this week!  I ordered a few things out of the upcoming Spring mini catalog and also a few Sale-a-bration goodies!  You are going to LOVE the great stuff in these two catalogs!

The two tone ribbon is so rich!  I love love love it!  And the More Amore Specialty DSP is so lovely in Pool Party and Razpberry Ripple and Pink Pirouette.    And I love the new Oval framelits dies.  I was hoping Stampin' Up! would come up with some oval dies!!   Now I'm waiting for the circle dies-- I hope they get some! I used the houndstooth embossing folder on the large pink panel.  And on the little butterfly, I just put the little butterfly in the middle of the houndstooth heart in the hearts Embosslit to get the the tiny houndstooth pattern.  The great sentiment is from Feel Goods.
I just can't get over that cute new little butterfly punch that pairs so nicely with the larger butterfly.  You can never have too many butterfly punches I always say! :)  I used the row of hearts embossing folder and repeated it 4 or 5 times down the pink panel to get the heart pattern all over instead of just in a strip.
This easel card shows off the oval dies quite well.  And I love the die cut heart from the Specialty DSP!  The skinny satin Pool Party ribbon is part of a button and ribbon pack available during Sale-a-Bration free with a $50 order!  I used the houndstooth embossing folder on the pool party panel, and the oval embossing folder on the Raspberry panel.  The Heart of Heart Sizzlits and Heart punches make a nice center to the die cut doily heart.  And look at that ribbon rose!  It comes on a spool of ribbon.  I just cut off one rose and put it in the middle.  So beautiful!

Christmas Dove Ornament

This is the hostess project we made this month.  Such a beautiful dove with the sparkly snowflake.  We used the Elegant Bird Bigz die (cut one out of poster board and cut 2 out of DSPs facing opposite directions for front and back).  Cut one Snowflake Bigz die out of sparkly glitter cardstock.  Faceted jewel button.  Lace ribbon bow.  Gold cord was used for the hanger (retired.)

No Peeking Penguin

I just can't get over how cute this little guy is!

For this little treat pouch I cut two Petite Pocket envelopes out of Gumball Green.  I cut off the ends of the flaps and punched them with the scallop border.  I also cut off the skinny end of both envelopes, leaving about a 1/4" shy of  the score line to give the box  a bottom.  I adhered the two halves together with sticky strip.  The front tab is folded down over the DSP and a ribbon ties nicely around for a finishing touch.

This would hold a nice row of peppermint candy sticks or skinny candy bar.

Thanks for looking! :)

Santa Box

We made this project at my last Hostess Club meeting.  He is way cute!

For this project you need:  Fancy Favor and Top Note Bigz dies.  The mustache is the bird from the bird punch.  The eyes are from the owl punch.  The nose and pom pom are the 3/4" cirlce punch.

Christmas SAS

We had so much fun stamping this weekend at my house.  We made 10 Christmas cards.  Here they are:

This one uses Snow Swirled Christmas tree.  So lovely!  Love the rhinestone bling! The sentiment is from Beautiful Season.  Some did a gold version which was beautiful as well.  I love the brushed metallic cardstock.  This is a good card if you are making a lot of cards.

This one uses the new Snowflake single stamp that coordinates with the Blossom punch.  I paired Marina Mist and Midnight Muse.  A quick simple card if you need to crank out a lot of Christmas cards as well.

WhenI saw a card similar to this done by Sandi Maciver, I fell in love with this little penquin and knew we just HAD to do this at my SAS.  The cutle little guy is from No Peeking set.  The oval embossed shape is from the holiday mini catalog as is the sentiment (Winter Memories).  Cherry Cobbler cardstock and ribbon.  Some did a version with Eggplant cardstock and ribbon.  So cute!

When I made this card I had Brushed Metallic Silver cardstock scraps that I just couldn't go to waste.  Why not make an ice skate?!  I punched branches from the bird punch and fashioned pieces of it into the blade.  Love it!

I love love the new Snowflake die from the holiday mini catalog.  This is done in Island Indigo.  The sentiment is from Delightful Dozen.  DSP is from Festival of Prints.

I was originally going to use the Bell from Bells and Boughs for this card.  Then my stamp order came in in the nick of time and I decided at the last minute to use the sled from Winter Memories instead.  I love those little cardinals!

This card uses the cute little gingerbread man from Scentsational Seasons.  I challenge anyone to make a card that isn't just adorable with this little guy!  It would be impossible!

This card is made with a snowman from Snow Much Fun.  He is so stinking cute!  The DSP is Festival of Prints.

I saw this card done by Connie Babbit and just had to CASE it.  I love how the little skating bird fits inside this die (from Apothecary Accents framelits dies).

My talented friend Evie prepped this card for me.  It is CASED from Sandi Maciver.  Sandi's used Raspberry Ripple.  Our version is Cherry Cobbler.  Gorgeous!

Thanks to everyone who attended!  Everyone had a lot of fun creating.

Ghost Poop goodies

I made these little ghost poop boxes and gave them to the stampers who prepaid for my last Stamp a Stack.
The box was created using two Bigz Scallop Envelopes die cut on black cardstock.    The little ghost is the Owl punch turned upside down with the little feet cut off.  Eyes and mouth are the smallest circles from the Owl ounch.  I used small cello bags and filled them with a ghost marshmallow candy and miniature marshmallows and tied with a scalloped polka dot ribbon bow.

Items used:  Scallop Envelope Bigz die, Owl Builder punch, Bird punch, 1-3/4" circle punch, Small oval punch.  Cut pumpkin with pumpkin pie cardstock and sponged edges with pumpkin pie ink

In case  you can't read the poem here it is:

I heard that you've been playing tricks
So listen here's the scoop
I'm running short on candy treats
So this year you get Ghost Poop!

So cute!!
