Floral Fusion Sizzlits

This is another of the cards we made at my Stamp a Stack last weekend.  I saw a card made by Linda Callahan and knew we just had to do it!  I did it in various color combinations using the 2011-2013 In Colors.

Here are two of the variations:
 Calypso Coral and Pool Party
Wisteria Wonder and Lucky Limeade.

I love the new stitched grosgrain.  Ties nicely and comes in many pretty colors.  The Itty Bitty Banners stamp set and Bitty Banners Sizzlets provided the sentiment.  The scallop is the edgelit die.

The rounded tabs were created with the 1" circle punch.  I took a strip of paper (embossed with the dots folder) that was just about 7/8" wide.  Put it in the round punch like this:
And you end up with this:

How cool is that!  Hope you enjoyed today's card. :)

Playing with the In Colors

This is a variation of a card we made at my Stamp a Stack this weekend.  I did it in 4 of the 5 new In Colors:  Rasperry Ripple, Midnight Muse, Primrose Petals and Summer Starfruit.  Flourish stamp is from Elements of Style.  The first two are paired with Crumb Cake cardstock and the last two with Soft Suede cardstock.  I love how Stampin' Up! makes ribbon and accessories to match their cardstock!!

These make a cute card pack to give as a gift.

Thanks to my good friend Evie for designing this card for me!

Summer Starfruit Papillon Potpourri

As soon as I saw the new butterfly punch I knew I just had to have it!  And wouldn't you know there was a stamp set to match it!  I am starting to like the new Summer Starfruit In Color.  This is another card we made at my Stamp a Stack this weekend.  I used one of the new Finishing Touches Edgelit dies to create the strip that the ribbon is on.  And I used the Very Vintage Jumbo Wheel to create the background.  Butterfly is from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set, popped up with a dimensional and adorned with a small pearl.

Lots of Tags Sizzlits created the label. Sentiment is from From My Heart stamp set.  Elegant Lines Embossing folder.

For the Birds

I just love the little birds in the For the Birds stamp set.  So darn cute!

We made this card at my Stamp a Stack this weekend.  So fun!
Floral District Designer Series Paper,  Daffodil Delight Cardstock and ribbon.  The new 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain ribbon ties nice bows!  And it comes in many great colors!  Stampin Write Markers used:  Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limeade, Rich Razzleberry, Rose Red, Tangerine Tango, Basic Gray

Thanks to Ann Schach for the idea for the layout and DSPs for this card.

Build a Blossom

We made this card at my Stamp a Stack this weekend.   Stamp set: Build a Blossom.  Blossom Petals Builder punch.  Elegant Bouquet embossing folder.  Cardstock and ink:  Rose Red, Garden Green and Basic Black.

Fan Fare Designer Series Paper

The Fan Fare DSP is some of my very favorite in the new catalog.  For this card I paired the two Riding Hood Red prints for a nice monochromatic look.   Supplies used:  Apothecary Accents Framelits, Delicate Doilies Sizzlits L.  Punches:  1-3/8"quare, 1-1/4" square, Fancy Flower, Boho Blossom. Ribbon is Riding Hood Red.  Cardstock:  Riding Hood Red and Very Vanilla.  Riding Hood Red ink.  Sponges.  Pearls.  Sentiment is from Tea Shoppe.

Betsy's Blossoms card

We made this card at my Stamp a Stack this weekend.  Some of my new stampers had never used a stampin' wheel before so this was a good opportunity to show them.  Cardstock and ink are the new In Colors:  Gumball Green, Raspberry Ripple and Primrose Petals.  Lots of Tags Sizzlits.  Embossing folder: fancy fan.  Sentiment is from From My Heart.

Same Card, Different Look

I decided to play some more with the layout I used for the previous post.  I also used the same swirl stamp from Creative Elements.  But this time I changed the colors and DSPs.  I used retired Beau Chateau and Everday Enchantment DSPs.  The birthday sentiment is not Stampin' Up!

I am in love with the new Butterfly punch!!!!

Dynamic Duos

I saw a card over on the Dynamic Duos blog that sparked my inspiration.  The color combo they used was Rose and Gray.  For this card I used Basic Gray and the new In Color Primrose Petals.  I love this color combo!  And look at the new In Color Delias!  They add such an elegant touch.  Love Love Love!

Stamp sets used:  Creative Elements, From My Heart (I just used Basic Gray marker to ink over the Thank you part of the stamp.)  Sadly, the satin ribbon is retired.

Thanks for looking.  :)

June Hostess Club projects

We had our first hostess club meeting this week.  We made two adorable graduation gift card/ money holders.  The graduation cap came out of the Stampin' Success Magazine that demonstrators get every month.  I always love the ideas that come in those.  The other one uses the cute owl punch made up for graduation.  The pocket is a Biz L Die (Petit Pocket).

Enjoy! :)

The houndstooth and stripe embossing folders add a nice texture.
