Paisley Prints

I got new goodies today!  Look what I made!  :)

I stamped the butterfly in TangerineTango ink on TangerineTango Cardstock to create background.  Sponged all edges with Early Espresso Classic ink.  Stamped main butterfly image on DSP in Early Espresso Craft ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.  Did the same with the sentiment.  Punched 1" and 3/4" circles, sponged edges, crinkled them up, pierced each circle and adhered with brad.  Ribbon "leaves" are from Sale-a-bration catalog.  Used various size pearls and free handed a swirl motif.

Stamps:  Pursuit of Happiness,  Summer Solstice
Cardstock:  Early Espresso, Tangerine Tango, River Rock
Other:  Paisley Petals DSP, Early Espresso Classic and Craft ink pads, Sponge, Tangerine Tango Classic ink, Circle punches, vaious size pearls, dimenstionals, clear embossing powder, heat tool, paper piercing tool, brad, ribbon from Sale-a-bration mini catalog

Pocket Full of Posies DSP

I have been wanting to use some of my Pocket Full of Posies DSP so I got it out this weekend to try it out.  I  really love the look of Rich Razzleberry.  Such a lovely color.

This one uses the Reverse Masking Technique.  I cut a heart out of scrap cardstock with the Framelits Heart Collection die and used that as a stencil to sponge Rich Razzleberry ink onto Whisper White Cardstock.  Then I inked up the swirl flourish from Creative Elements in Rich Razzleberry and stamped it over the stencil.  The butterfly is from Nature Walk.  Rhinestone swirl embellishment is not Stampin Up.  (I used it to cover up a boo-boo!) Stampin Up Ribbon.
This card uses the Mixed Bunch stamp set.  Again I tried some reverse masking using the Fancy Flower Punch. Then I embossed it with the snowflake folder from the holiday mini catalog.   Sponged the edges and lightly sponged over the embossing with Rich Razzleberry ink.  I stamped the flower in Rich Razzleberry and punched it out with the new Blossom Punch.  Then I cut out five petals and curled and sponged the edges and adhered it over the Fancy Flower stenciled flower and put a brad in the middle.

The last card uses Nature Walk.  "Dream" comes from Loving Thoughts in the occasions mini catalog.  I stamped the bird in Rich Razzleberry full strength.  Then I stamped the rest of the images collage style after stampin off one time to make them a little lighter than the bird focal point.  Ran it through an embossing folder and sponged the edges and lightly over the embossed pattern.  I also used the Stampin Up embossing folder "Square Lattice" on the Rich Razzleberry cardstock panel.

Butterfly Sampler with Paisley Petals DSP

Here are some cards I made with one of my favorite DSPs.  I used Framelits Labels Die paired with the oval frame embossing folder (free during Sale-a-Bration).  These look cool together!''

So Saffron and Crumb Cake Butterfly

I found some retired DSP that I decided to get out and play with.  I can't remember the name of this paper.  But I really liked it when it came out.  Notice the emobssed frames?  These embossing folders come in a pair:  an oval and a rectangle.  They are free during Sale-a-Bration with a $50 order.  Enjoy!

This one uses a sentiment from "Loving Thoughts" in the Occasions mini catalog.  Butterfly is from "Creative Elements" stamp set.  Both stamped in Crumb Cake ink.  Embossing folder is "Elegant Lines".

Kindness Matters

Sale-a-Bration is underway!  This is the most exciting time of year for Stampin' Up! lovers!!  For every $50 spent on Stampin' Up products you get to pick out free stuff!  Here are some cards made with the Kindness Matters set that you can get free during Sale-a-Bration.  I just love that little row of butterflies!  But I'm partial to butterflies anyway!!

If you want to place an order, just let me know!  :)

Playing with Purples!

I  love purple!!  I decided to pull out my retired Pale Plum and pair it with Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant.  I got out one of my favorite stamp sets and these are what I came up with.  I hope you like them!
