Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge- Nursery Nest DSP

I am really going to miss this DSP.  I have made some really pretty cards with it.  I love the patterns and the colors.  I found this sketch today and decided to give it a whirl.

Cardstock used:  Pear Pizzaz,  DSP- Nursery Nest, Ink- Blushing Bride, Wide striped ribbon.

If you love the wide stripe ribbon, you should stock up now.  It will not be offered in the new Catalog starting June 1.

Here's the sketch.

Betsy's Blossoms birdie

I really love the look of this little bird.  So many things I could do with layering the wings.  I will have to try that later.  Anyway, there was a great Freshly Made Sketch that showcases DSP perfectly so I played with my new Floral District DSP.  I  hope you like it!

Supplies used:  Cardstock: Daffodil Delight and Baja Blue,  DSP: Floral District.  Ink:  Baja Blue.  Daffodil Delight Seam Binding ribbon.  Dimensionals.  Hard to see but I also embossed with one of the flower embossing folders by Stampin Up!

More Betsy's Blossoms

Got to play a little bit againt today with my new stuff!  This time I used the large flower from Betsy's Blossoms.  I stamped it  3 times in Rich Razzleberry and cut layers.  I popped up the layers with dimensionals.  Dazzling Diamonds gives the flower a little sparke.  I used another Freshly Made Sketch.
Cardstock used:  Gumball Green, Summer Starfruit, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper white.  Floral District DSP.  Ribbon is retired.  Brights Buttons.  Sentiment is from Pursuit of Happiness.

Join my Hostess Club!

By request, I am starting a hosetss club!  I am hoping to get  6-7 people to sign up.  Here's how it works:  If we have 6 people sign up, then the club will run for 6 months- June to November.  The club will meet one night a month.  Each club member will bring their $25 order to the meeting and will make exclusive projects reserved for my club members.  Each month the club will submit a $150 workshop order, and each member will take turns being the hostess.  So everyone will get a chance to get the fabulous hostess benefits which include free catalog merchandise, including reduced priced products reserved for hostesses only.  If the hostess wants to collect outside sales to increase her benefits, she can.  It's up to her.  If a member can't come to the meeting she can email me her order prior to the meeting.  It's that simple!  Fun, right?

I am having a Hostess Club sign up night at my house this Thursday night, May 17.  Come any time between 5 and 8.  Come, sign up, get a FREE 2012-2013 catalog, and make a card using new products.  Hope you can make it!  RSVP so I can prepare enough card kits for everyone.

I am thinking about doing this card that night.  But I may play some more and see.  :)

New Catalog Sneak Peek: Betsy's Blossoms

I got my new catalog and the sneak peek produts I ordered this week!  I got all the new In Colors in the new ink pad style.  Love!  Love! Love!  When I first heard Stampin' Up! was getting new stamp pads I was like, "No way am I buying new ink pads!"  Well, I'm singing a different tune now that I have tried them!  I NEED them in every color!  They stamp so smooth!  Really great coverage on the stamps.

Anyway, I wanted to make something with my new stuff so I turned to Freshly Made Sketches for inspiration.  Here's the Sketch I used:
I have a new set called Betsy's Blossoms.  It is a set of 6 solid image stamps:  an adorable bird, a leaf, a branch and 3 different flowers.  It also has a coordinating wheel.  I used the new Floral District Designer Series paper.  And I got to try out my new ink pads!  For the card I used Raspberry Ripple ink!  Cardstock is Raspberry Ripple and Pumpkin pie.  I used retired Pumkin Pie grosgrain ribbon. Sentiment is from Pursuit of Happiness.  Enjoy!

Look how great the bird image came out!  The ink pad is so smooth you won't believe it!  No more uninked portions on a solid stamp!
